MAQ.BIO / BRAND BIOGRAPHY · MAQ MEMBER
Nalune Studio
The fictional Nalune Studio story begins in a small shared workshop where young households moving between rentals kept asking for better choices. Its imagined founders watched what people carried, repaired and set aside, then built the identity around designing for smaller rooms.
Rather than claim to transform an entire category, Nalune Studio concentrates on the details that can be observed: repairable frame and interchangeable upholstery. This vocabulary shapes its materials, packaging, instructional notes and approach to everyday use.
The marque is conceived for young households moving between rentals, not an abstract luxury customer. It treats limitations as part of good design: a useful object should explain its care needs, expected wear and situations in which another option would suit someone better.
In this imagined business, the Corner Nest Chair is a starting point for conversation about designing for smaller rooms. Its next chapter would depend on listening to customers, documenting trade-offs and choosing improvements that solve a real problem.
Fictional brand and business narrative created for MAQ.BIO staging content. No actual company or commercial offer is represented.
